I was so infatuated with the beautiful Alpha F3 and somewhat less attractive F8, that I went back to work on a scratch F8 for CFS2.

A very slick looking F8 there Tom. I assume the pilot is flying around looking for his missing wing roundel . The Meteor always was one of my favourite jets. You've really captured her lines well. Great work!

  She's truly a WIP.   She's been a project off and on for months because I just wasn't happy with any of the F8s in CFS2.   I get discouraged from time to time and put her back on the shelf, most of the frustrating stuff is behind me now,

Since I am not a good skinner, I'll send you the plane as it is now and you can work your magic on the textures.

No sweat.  Just let me know what you want on her and I'll get out the stencils and warm up the paint sprayer.

Bub has begun work on the bare-metal texture project for the F8.  Thank heaven....'casue I paint like a two-year old....can't seem to stay inside the lines. 

She's still very much a WIP says Bub, but she's looking good. 

...and over at my little shop she's been getting new textures for her doors and bays, flaps and spoilers.   Not to mention a nicely tuned AIR, CFS and DP with long range tank, rockets and bombs.   And a rudimentary VC is installed, plus a start on the LOD models has been made.   [smiley=happy.gif]  Whew!

Bub continues to improve both the bare metal and camo skins for the new F8 Meteor. 

Me?  I'm returning to the trenches from my holiday break to work on the DVC and details not visible on the exterior.....lots of grunt work. 

I just uploaded my CFS2 conversion of Giovanni Clemente's Blackburn Buccaneer with DP and weps....should be available tomorrow.

I'm beginning to wonder if I have ADD.   I have this great new F8 Meteor just about completed (multi-lod)...but can't seem to get to work on the DVC.    I need to finish this project.....oh, isn't that a pretty H6...I just have to take that for a spin. 

...and I want you to know that I have NOT been slacking off in front of the TV.   I've actually hit a couple of licks toward the finish line on the F8.
