I wish I could edit loadouts and hardpoints and stuff. I got the ICARUS TB-3 with the I-16s under each wing, I'd love to set 3 of OW and Scrub's I-153s on the top wing, I first got to figger out why the I-16s won;t show up under the wings.

But do you need a grown man to boot?

Ifn you are still looking for the Polikarpov, head over to the library section at SimOuthouse. Morton has uploaded a package which has all the bits and pieces and just needs a sound folder to make it complete. The file is "mk_Polikarpov_I-153.zip".
Thanks for the great skins Larry 8-). I reaaly like the way the numbers are slightly faded. These will look just right on Achim's airfields.

Bones,
Did you add the I-16 folder to the aircraft folder? I forgot to do that when I down loaded the ICARUS TB-3. From memory I think there is also a wep Object DP for the I-16 as well (though I'm not sure why that came with the package). This was a great package, but I'm not sure why the ICARUS guys didn't include a cfg file for CFS2 which made the paratroopers fall using the L key.

Ravenna, I've been in chats and forums where CFS2 "militants" like me are called "killers" who like to "kill people" by those who are into FSX/2002/2004, etc. I guess dropping paras is viewed as benign and safe and takes no lives.
On to the TB-3/I-16 problem: There is a ".DBK" file included in the folder, is this a backup .dp that let's the I-16s show up? Do I just need to change the name of this file to get the I-16s going? The I-16 installed fine to my Aircraft folder in MSCFS2, it's just sitting there.
I wish I knew how to edit .dps and hardpoints; I'd love to string OW and Scrub's I-153s across the top wing along with the I-16s. If you look in the little history they sent us there is a pic of 5 aircraft attached to this plane. I love it. I want to integrate it into Nomonhon and China Theater missions when I get around to writing missions. My income is next to nil too, I make American Indian artifacts for a hobby and gave a friend an arrow, he bought me the TB-3.

Bonesky,
You should be good to go with the DP file provided. I didn't use the DBK file. When you go into Free Flight and call up the DB-3 does the loadout menu give you the I-16s as a loadout choice? One extra thing I did was to add a sound folder to the I-16. I think it already had a panel folder.
Try adding this in place of your [LIGHTS] section inthe aircraft.cfg:
[LIGHTS]
panel=0.00,0.00,0.00,fx_fallsw
To drop the paras just hit L.
If you want to get into working with loadouts and hardpoints the best place to go is the Caleb Flerk site. I'll find the web address for you.
cheers

If you see aa TB-3 flying out there with I-16s hanging from the wing and 3 I-153s across the top with Oldwheat in the pilot seat, you know I will have digested Caleb's tips
