Troubleshooting CFS2: Post Problems & Solutions

After you've been around CFS2 for a number of years, there comes a point when you realize that you've forgotten more about the sim than you remember.

Tom, sometimes we encounter where CFS2 might be expected to do something it may not have been designed for, this is what I think is up with my Problem #1

1. I fly QC, usually out of Henderson, which is sort of strange if I'm doing a QC that's ETO. I shoot down my planes, to test my navigation skills I return to Henderson and land, throttle works, but the engine will not shut off.
2. Rockets in QC respawn. Any rocket, any plane, any theater of operation.

Those are two little glitches so far for me.

Bones,
To shut down an engine try shift+ 3. Some planes respond to ctrl+ 3.

Thank you, I'll give it a try. I'm finding also the bombs and rockets respawn in Missions and Campaigns.

Bones, that's because you have Unlimited Weapons checked in your Settings.  ;)

Thanks Tom problem fixed. Told you guys, I don;t know squat about this sim, plus this little cop-car notebook is not a gaming computer. I'm gonna head over to Intechra and see what kind of deals they have on 3 gig boxes.

Bones, we all gotta start somewhere.   Just keep on keepin' on.  There's usually someone around here to answer questions.  [smiley=engel017.gif]

Those 3-gig boxes are going pretty reasonably these days.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
