Problem with running CFS2

Hi everybody! I'm new in this forum and I hope you'll help me.My problem is: I start CFS2 normally but when i want to start a mission it just starts loading the scenery and the game turns off.I'm with WinXP SP2.Please help.

After the scenery loads does it CTD(crash to desktop).
Does this happen in a campaign or mission?
Do you run the game with the CD in the drive. It needs the CD to be in the drive.

Welcome to the CFS2 forum.
Win XP SP2 will run the sim just fine. Like The_Editor suggests, more information would be helpful.

Is this with the default or 3rd party missions?
In my experience this sort of problem is usually caused by missing or incorrectly installed aircraft used in the mission.
