Memory error w/ FSCS 2.

I just reinstalled FSCS 2 for the first time in probably 4 years.

Whenever I try to start a flight, i get this error message:

[glow=yellow,2,300]The instruction at "0x027b1e00" referenced memory at "0x027b1e00." The memory could not be "read."

Click on OK to terminate the program.

Click on CANCEL to debug the program.[/glow]



I'm running WinXP SP3.

Any ideas?

I did an uninstall/reinstall and got the same result, only this time it referenced memory "0x02811e00"

i can load the mission builder and it works fine.

i still can't load normally and do free flight, quick combat, campaigns, etc. .

Have you tried this:

In the CFS2.cfg change this:

LOADWINDOW=0

to this:

LOADWINDOW=1

See if that fixes it.

thanks for the response.

i opened the .cfg and 'loadwindow' was already set to 1. I changed it to 0 just to see what would happen, and i'm having the same problem.

something i just noticed;

the title bar of the error reads "cfs2.icd"

i think i'm in hot pursuit now
