Cannot launch CFS2

I installed CFS1 on my PC running Windows XP, SP2.  It runs with no problems.  Then I installed CFS2 on the same PC.  CFS2 ran fine the first time after the install.  However, after the first time it ran, I cannot get it to launch again. Each time in try to launch it, I get the splash screen with a message saying "Please Wait-Launching".  But it does not launch, nothing happens.
I don't have this issue with CFS1. In order to get CFS2 to run again, I have to uninstall it, then reinstall again.  I tried to lower the Hardware Acceleration for the video card, but it does not solve the problem.  I tried to disable all the startup apps and reboot, that does not work either. Got any suggestions?

I don't know what to tell you. The 2nd hard drive I have plugged into this computer was originally from the Windows98 PC previous to my prior XP PC. Just to check for you, I accessed its CFS2 .exe for the first time on this PC: a User Accept/Decline window appeared, then the splash screen appeared as soon as I accepted. When it finally loaded, the game responded properly.
The only question I have is how long you actually waited for the loading; it take substantially longer than CFS1 (about a minute).

I figured out that my antivirus software is causing the issue.  I sent an email to Kaspersky Labs to find out why this happens.
