You'll find the most authentic, beautiful and framerate-friendly Essex Class carriers to date over at CG's Shipyard http://www.simviation.com/lair/cfs2shipyard.htm .There are 18, yes I said 18, different Essex class vessels for download, not to mention an entire fleet of other ships.
There's even a repaint kit to create the Essex of your choice by adding the decknumbers of your favorite carrier.....if it's not there for download already
