Planes won't work

I finaly got CFS2 to run on my new machine but some of the add-on planes won't show up in the game. These are planes made for CFS2 and they have the same type of files as other planes that work...they just don't show up in the sim.

It is an alias issue, Alpha always has the sound aliased to some aircraft that doesn't exist in CFS2. You need to get a sound.cfg from a stocker like the a6m5 and swap it out . . . .

I note that both your examples are jets. You might find my Aliasing article helpful. Read the section on Jets in CFS1 & CFS2.
