CFS2 on Win XP

I have a new system that is Windows XP SP2 like the last one...I can't get CFS2 to run at all. It just freezes up when I try to start it. The only thing really different from the old system is the nVidia 8600 GTS video card. I had always used ATI cards before and it ran fine. Now I can't get it to run at all. I have always loved CFS2 because of the many add-ons available for it.

Have you checked the drivers for you card? The latest ones have had issues with regard to old CFS games.
I've been running CFS2 in XP with a Ti4600 no problem. Just upgraded to an XT800 and no issues.
