The best conprehensive report on the Nomohan iccident so far. There are more facts are to be told of this forgoten inccident than it has been told in official history. Just one of many misleading interpretation of this iccident is the Japanese turn South because of their defeat at the hand of the Soviet. The real reason was that they needed Oil and the United State cut off their supply of Oil once the occupied Indochina in 1940.The result of this iccident was that the Soviet realize that the Japanese where real tough and for the Japanes was the Soviet Union was a lot stronger than they though. Both country as a result of this inccident had a healthy respect for each other after this encounter.
