I have looked agian and agian, and can not find any Mig 19's that look good for CFS2 and bad models that dont look that great also. Is there any place beside paywhere to get good looking models. Also is there any Korean war or Vietnam addons for CFS2

Hi Candle,
Thicko has done quite a few very good Russian aircraft, no Mig-19s, or any jets for that matter. Most of his aircraft are here at SimV but most of his updated ones are at
Sim-OuthouseFor Korea, you can't go wrong with
The Fox Four. They have three very good campaigns on their site, and they're also working on another.
Good Hunting,
Brandon

The Fox Four has an AI Mig-15. But, for their new campaign they're making a Player-Flyable version.

I don't know where any of the other aircraft you listed may be found. I'm sure there have been some made for FS9, they can be converted to CFS2, but thats for another subject...

You and me both, I'm horrible at dog fighting with jets.

I"m not a good jet Fighter my self but the only advice I can give is to slow down. Use your speed wisely. You not fight properly at top speed.
Every thing else is the same except for factor of greater speed. I"m talking about Korea era Jet fighting with guns. Now if you are talking about todays fighter thats a totally different matter because of the Technolgy been use today.

Candel_86 I will start a new list of websites dedicated for planes for this program soon. Maybe you will able find you Mig15 there.
Have you looked in this website in the modern and World war two section. You can also look in Sim-outhouse in their plane section and you might be able to find the planes you are looking for there.
Keep looking and might find it. Maybe you can look in FS98 and FS2000 and 2002. I heard you can adapt their planes to this program. I my self never done that but you can give it a try.
Here I did a Mig15 search for you. See if you find what you are looking for:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/perlf ... ll&q=Mig15Take a look in here as well.
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/master_ftp/ ... -aircraft/Remember to backup every thing just in case.

I have found them all for FS98 or CFS1 but they are low poly with non trasparent external canipies. I'm talking about mostly 100k and under fighters. I did find a bunch back in 2002 but I can't find the site. It was one of those pay for the plane sites, had alot of these I wanted.

(Also I just came from the Korean war stuff, any tips on jet combat, i keep tring to do it like i do CFS2 and i keep going to fast. )
as a beginner try the old (actual) trick of attacking from behind and lowering gear and flaps (or dive brakes) to slow you down just before the shoot, then retract and get the hell out of there ;)

Also, if closing on the target at 300 kts+ but put on the red target id and start your slowdown at about 1200' (if behind) then flaps etc if necessary to fix target in the sights. also remember to fight at below 240 kts once engaged if possible ... that will put you on inside of the targets turning ratio most times . slower aircraft turn tighter, and you want to stay inside his turn ... or you are the target
