Hmm, they seem to work well

Greetings all,
I thought I would try my planes in CFS2 and I have found that I have to revert to size 7, but other than that, everything works really well.  The scasmed planes seem to have everything working including those pesky props.  I have to find a mission to test the landing gear of other planes in the squadron and see if the are down and will retract.

If these all work, I might just forget about doing my planes for CFS1 and make them straight for CFS2.

Here is the Bf109G6 I have designed for CFS1 shown in CFS2

Hope you like

Thanks

Other than sizing, anything you've made for CFS1 should work without much modification for CFS2. You may have used size 8, possibly 9, for CFS1 sizing. In the reverse, I've had to increase the siziing and modify the .air file's height/view info when incorporating a plane generated for CFS2 or FS2002 in CFS1.

Greetings,
Well, there is a lot to change in the DP file I have found out, and those dam break points are a pain.  However, It seems to work ok now and have tested it a lot.  No doubt someone will grizzle over it, but who knows, maybe someone might enjoy dogfighting them.

I figure I have to make 2 lots, one for CFS1 and one for CFS2

Thanks

That goes with the sizing change. They could actually edit the .dp file themselves just by enabling the CFS edit. The .air and .mdl are another matter.
Your basic polys look quite decent, howbeit, things differ somewhat depending upon the users video card.

Greetings all,

I have added my first CFS2 planes, a dogfight double, a Bf109K and a P-47D.  Please give me any feedback as I want to try and make them work well in CFS2.

I am going to upload my next dogfight double as a Gloster Meteor and a Me262.

Thanks

Greetings,
Well after some bug hunting and looking at all of the uploads of CFS2, I figured I might upload some planes that nobody has made, starting with the Bf110.

I will see what others I have that are not in CFS2 mode(perhaps a Ju87b or Gloster Meteor, and where would that be without a Me262?  Hmm, Maybe a F-80?)

Your Thoughts?

Thanks

Greetings,
Now I know that this plane is much sought after in CFS2 for many people to fly and fight. ;D

The good old Ju-87B! :o

Enjoy flying it! :P

Greetings,
Well, I have uploaded the Gloster Meteor :o and will see what the response is.

I know its not FSDS, but I want to get all the AF99 planes finished first.
Now I know that this would be good to have something with to dogfight it, so I am working on my Me262 ;D and should have it up soon.

I might even through in a P-80 if anyone is interested.

Thanks

Yes, thanks for still supporting CFS1.  I know its old but many of us still enjoy flying it.

By the way, thanks also for the Meteor and Stuka, they're great looking aircraft.  Hope to see the Ta-152 up soon!

Very cool indeed!

Die Staffel, have you made any blackish-greyish Bf-110s with radar antennae?

Also, any Me-262B-1 'nachtj

Greetings,

Well I said I would upload a Ta152 for those who asked:
Image
:P

Now the question is, what order should I work on the planes to upload?:-

P-80 Shooting Star
Ar234 Blitz night fighter
P-38J
P-38E
Typhoon
P-40E
P-40B
Bf-109G
Bf-109F
Mustang III(Malcolm Hood)
Hurricane IIB
Hurricane IIC
Fw190A4
Fw109A8/R1
Fw190D9
Yak3

Once these are made, then I shall see whether I retire from CFS1 and 2 or I might just make skins, or look for a new hobby like gardening? :(

Maybe I might make some variants of some of the planes to keep my skills up. ::)

Anyway, please tell me in what order you guys would like me to build the planes to upload. ???

Thanks
