Back in April you were talking with Blackbird686 and James007 about the 100 plane limit, hangars and multiple installs.
Multiple installs work fine for me but its a pain having to repoint the MB every time i want to go to a different theatre.
You mentioned that it is possible to make shortcuts to use the MB for each different install - how do you do it?

Hi Colin

Yes you can do this but I'm using an old PC & don't have CFS2 installed right now so this is from memory. I assume you already have an MB shortcut on your Desktop. If not, you can create one from the Start/Programs menu (right-click/Create Shortcut) & drag it onto the Desktop.

Take a copy of the existing MB shortcut. The quickest way is to right-click on it & select Copy. Then right-click anywhere on the Desktop & select Paste. You can rename this second shortcut to any name you wish. Now right-click on the second shortcut & select Properties. Point the Target path at the CFS2.exe file of your duplicate install before clicking OK. That's it. ;)

PS. If you have more than one duplicate install of CFS2 you can do this as many times as you wish.

Did as directed, 1 MB shortcut for each install up and running.

Many Thanks

If you want to change your MB shortcut icon to something that represents the MB much better, right-click on the MB shortcut to change & a Windows menu comes down. One of the options it has is Properties. It's at the bottom of the menu. Left-click it and a box should come up. Now there are 3 tabs at the top: General, Shortcut & Compatability. Click on Shortcut unless it's not already selected. Once you have done that, near the bottom but above the buttons called OK, Cancel & Apply there are 3 other buttons. The middle one says Change Icon. Click it. It comes up with another box. It has 2 icons: the default one and another one. Click the other one and press the button on the new box that says OK. Then there are 3 boxes at the bottom of the other box. One says Apply, one says OK. Click Apply, and then click OK. You must do it in that order. And then repeat for other MB shortcuts :)

In case you're wondering yep I found that myself :)

Good point Bomber. In fact Hayden (aka Fang) created several icons to go with our Fox Four campaigns. One of these would be ideal if you have a duplicate install for CFS2 Korea. Unfortunately these are on my main PC which is kaput at the moment.

Good point Bombardier.
When I did as Hagar said and got all the MB shortcuts on the desktop, I thought, great but I'm bound to get confused here (6 different installs). A different icon for the MB helps get round that

You can always rename the shortcuts with an appropriate name. MB CFS2 Europe, MB CFS2 Korea, MB CFS2 WWI etc. Use whatever names you like. I find this helps a lot.
