Tutorial for dp files

I am looking for a tutorial on making and revising DP files.

This was originally posted this on the CFS development forum but have received no answers so maybe nobody has seen it.

I have Caleb Flerk's dissertation on dp files and while it is helpful it still leaves some questions unanswered and leaves me looking for more information.

What I am looking for specifically is how to "daisy-chain" bomb drops so that in Bombers, (B-24, B-29, B-17 and B-25) you can unload all the bombs at one time with one key action.

Right now I have to load them on one or two mounts and have several bombs per mount to get them to drop all at once. You can't see but one bomb dropping per mount this way and I'd like to see them string out like you see pictures of.

There are descriptions of the way to set up a dp file so that the bombs can be released in "trail" but even when following it faithfully, it doesn't seem to work on my bombers, so I'm looking for a more in depth dissertation on dp files to try to clear up my problem.

Anybody able to help ?

I don't even know if this helps but am going to ask anyway.

After setting up those DP files as per instructions that you talk about, did you go and check keyboard assignments and settings?

Remember that on some of the keyboard assignmenst there is a setting for "Repeat" or something like that? I am wondering if on the keyboard setting for "Bomb release/weapon release" if you set this "repeat" up on the scale if it would release more if not all the bombs per "Pickle squeeze"?

Might try looking into that aspect. Just a thought.
