A few questions...

Hey SimV, Long time no see.

O.K. my first questions was... how in the world do you have multiple installs of CFS2? I Uninstalled the default game, and installed again under the name "Combat Flight Simulator 2 (Korea)" for the Fox Four team's campaigns  ;D. thinking that when I put the disc in again it would say "Install" and not "Play" but I was wrong  :-[. What do I need to do have multiple installs of the game?

My second question is... is Pactex compatible with the Fox Four Scenery? and what other scenerys is Pactex compatible with?

O.K. my third question is... When I installed the Mask Rider Papua New Guinea GSL Pack, I deleted the bgl's of the Airfields it would interfere with, now my Mask Rider Scenery is screwed up, I flew from Finschafen (sp?) and from Wake Is. and there's no mountains, and the terrain is just sand and grass colored squares, any ideas on what I screwed up this time?

Hi Brandon. The first question is easy. Install CFS2 & run it to make sure everything is OK. Then rename the root directory folder to any other name. Insert the CD & install again. You will now have 2 separate installs of CFS2 that can be run individually. This is posted on the Fox Four site. Please take a few minutes to read the FAQ & other pages to get the best out of our campaigns. http://www.simviation.com/lair/cfs2kwfaq.htm

We haven't tested any other 3rd party addons with the Fox Four scenery, except for the winter textures recommended on the Fox Four site. I suggest you leave CFS2 Korea just as it is for best results. We can't support or troubleshoot it properly if you add other files to it.

Fireman or Maskrider himself should be able to answer your other question.

I am using the pactex textures and they work just fine with
the Fox Four scenery.

Regarding your third question, I encountered something
similar when I installed new scenery airbases. I found
that moving that scenery down in the priority list, cures
the problem. You might want to try that.

p.s. Nice Corsair pics! Would you have the upper-left pic in
800x600 size?

Thanks Hagar, I never would've thought of renaming the root directory using my over-sized under-sized brain.

Please read the instructions. I even posted them on the download page. The only thing we can't do automatically for you is to activate the Korea scenery.

I knew I was forgetting something! maybe I should read the "readme1st" next time.  ;D

Thanks again, and again Hagar.
