Multi-player ?

Hi to All,
            Would anyone know how to rid the flyby sound of another plane in  multi-play?
         I chkd around in the root folder & didn't see any thing.
        Am I overlooking the abvious ?

Hmmm, don't know if you want to go there!!

I downloaded some nice AI.acft sounds long ago and really made the flyby sounds much better.

But, the sound files you are talking about are in the CFS2 Sound folder.

Cl1_ext, Cl3_ext1 and Cl3_ext2. They are all .wav files. That's C  L.

The Cl4_ext might also be involved.

To test this, just rename those files to say........Cl_ext.orig etc. for those files. Or even cut and paste them onto your desktop. Try the game and see what you get.

Don't do anything until you protect those files.

If you already lost em, then they are located on the CFS2 disc, BUT YOU have to look for them.

         That's good advice for sure !! & thank you much for the idea.
          I haven't done anything yet, but I knew the forum was the place to find out.
          By the way I miss your site, I have many of your downloads installed  & enjoy them  immensly !!

Thx Otto. Had fun doing it. Those were the days when you had to wait in line to get into the Zone for CFS2. Free flights with our Hopper group was a lot of fun.

I still have all the files if there is anything you lost. Someday might put the site back up for those that still enjoy the wonder of CFS2.
