Playing online last night, a chap joined our group flying a B24 Liberator that was invisible to me. I could track him, but there was no visual representation on screen. also while we were playing an earlier game I could see dots on my radar and a player in the ready room that no-one else could see. any explainations?

Many times these are zone glitches. On the later issue, if he was in the room flying, but no one or many could not see him on radar, then usually that player going back to the RR and coming back in clears that up.

As far as the first issue with the invisible B-24, did you see him in a different acft., like a Zero? If so, then this would be because you don't have that type acft. If you don't have an acft. the other player is flying, you won't see that acft. You will see him in one of two things, either a Zero or in the same acft. you are flying.

He, or you, might not have your router/firewall set up properly, but usually that would preclude either of you from entering the game in the first place.

Also, sometimes from the ready room, when the host launches the game and everyone begins flying, some pilots get kicked out of the room becaause of bad connection speeds to all there. He will see himself out of the game and the rest of you still in there flying will see him lit up in your radar, you can even lock on to him, but, you don't see him. This can last for many minutes.

Hope I gave you some clues as to what you might be seeing.
