I'd be happy for them to patch CFS2... ;) or allow others to do it for them.

See the online petition at: http://www.petitiononline.com/cfs2/petition.html

Don't go holding your breath though, eh? ;)

i say just patch it and put in a few more things like water relfection thats work with DirectX 8.0 and GeForce 4 MMx 440 then i could have it  :)

All they need to really is make the AI clever and allow clickable gauges and i'd be perfectly happy with them which would make a nice change lol ;D

I don't know if you've done any scenery development work before, but placing radio navigation aids in the default scenery is pretty easy.

You just need to get hold of FSSC (my preference) or Airport and drop them right in there. If you want ILS then it's a little more fiddly as you need to line things up with the existing runways, but it really doesn't take so long. I can help you with this if you are interested.

BTW you can already bomb Taranto using the GroundCrew Design Team's excellent Swordfish campaign and missions.  I've read a fair bit about the Bamba and Taranto raids and was keen to try them.

Taranto was tough for the guys that did it and you'll be pleased to note that it's tough in CFS2, too.

Although only two swordfish were downed with the loss of one crew and capture of the second in the actual raid, I've yet to survive my first torpedo run on one of the ships! Try it in no fun rules and see how you get on - it fair quickens the pulse, I can tell you...

I haven't survived much doing a torpedo run on a battleship in a B5N in an old Pearl Harbour mission I made! (which I've thrown it away and made a better version) I'll look into those navaids, if you've got the GroundCrew He111 (search the net) there's a blind approach guage, so if you fly Europe in CFS2, you could add an ILS to Cambrai and try land the He111. Could I pretty please have the adress for that Taranto stuff and that FSSC thingy?
