This is an effect called "Torque" which is the way a plane likes to veer off to the side dur to the rotatin props. This is not a bug.

are you using force feedback as my planes fell of carriers due to the ff twisting my crate to the left. i cured it by turning off ff

Just correct it with the rudder or rudder trim.

Thanks for the info on that. I forgot to mention that some of the planes pull to the left so bad they go in circles acting as if the left wheel brake is on and can't even take off. I am using a saitek 3d gold usb stick with the autorudder off in the cfs2 settings.

Try easying the throttle open slowly as you accelerate, it is easier to compensate for the torque that way. Some planes do require alot of rudder to counter the torque, especially the powerfull late war aircraft.

It could be the way you have the joystick set up in CFS2.
Try recalibrating it first from Settings/Calibrate joystick.
If that doesn't fix it play around with the
Rudder axis Sensitivity &
Null Zone sliders from Settings/Controller sensitivities.

Another solution to the tendency of the default 'taildragger' aircraft to ground loop is to apply a simple fix which adjusts the amount of tailwheel rotation.
Open the aircraft's aircraft.cfg file and look for the contact points section. The first definition (point.0) is for the tailwheel. The value that affects tailwheel rotation is the seventh one in (steer angle). Set this to: 060
Example from the Hellcat below:
point.0=1, -19.00, 0.00, -3.98, 3200, 0, 0.40,060.0, 0.30, 2.5, 0.70, 1.0, 6.0, 0, 0, 135
It does sound as if your problem is propeller torque though - apply opposite rudder to keep her straight down the centreline.

LOL

Who dug up this old thread?
I suppose it's still relevant but note the date of the original question. Almost 3 years ago when Grumpy still lurked around here.

PS. Check out this topic. It seems appropriate.
