To Fly a B25 off the carrier deck requieres maximum deck lenght. That is, I have to position the plane as far aft as possible . i know there is a way to do that but i forgot how. Can somebody please refresh my memory .
Thanks

Open the ships cfg file on each of the carriers and locate this section:
[flight_deck_section]
; this section defines the control points the
; AI (and LSO) use to steer towards the flight deck
width=32
length=241
takeoff_start=0,21,-50
takeoff_stop=0,21,120
landing_start=0,500,-5000
landing_touch_down=0.1920005,16.896,-81.536003
landing_stop=0.1920005,16.896,0
The number you want to change is the "-50" on the "takeoff_start" line. Try changing it to "-90" to move the plane back and see how you do.
A higher number moves the plane back and a lower one moves it foward.

Theres a simple add-on download on a website somewhere that does all of that... Theres also a few others that add boiler smoke, more wake, splashing around the front of the ship, and oil/debris when damaged. Also, there was one more that made the decks of the American carriers blue, which is supposedly realistic.
Wish I could remember where I saw all of this...
Regardless, if I found it once, anyone could find it. Just look around--search 'CFS2 Add-ons' in Google, or with nearly any other search engine, such as Yahoo!... Then check a few different sites.
Some of those things may even be here at Simviation, in one downloads section or another.
