Heinkel111 CMP no pilot

Help please
installed the heinkel111 campaign.
1.) when opening the  Advanced Info screen i get  " German Destroyer Type 34" too far from the leader ("pl.-Deblin") maximum distance is 20,000meters.  (pl.-deblin) is a runway in the Poland 39 and Fall weiss campaigns. also the  takeoff name is Torkina (pacific theatre) rather than Oldenburg. How do i over come this problem???
2.) the campaign also looks for a raf_pilot and gives me this error messages - can't find model raf-pilot in library-  and than the game crashes to the DESKTOP.

Help please.

Can't help with #1 as I don't have the campaign.

You can get the raf_pilot here. http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/cfs2/cfs2x.htm

thanks hagar

pilot is now showing up nicely during free flight  . seems that the desk top crash has something to do with the first problem could it be the airbase id and runway numbers??

It's quite likely something like that. Make sure you read & follow the instructions carefully. From what you're saying there might be a conflict with another campaign.

Yep, CTD should be an airbase.dat issue.
You have several options to add themm.
either copy and past from the provided add_to_airbases text or replace your original entirely using the provided airbase.dat.
I any case RTFM, I spent quite a while to compile that stuff ;D
This "German Destroyer Type 34" error can be kindly ignored, it's a mission builder related bug that pops up at times with ship formations that shouldn't hurt anything at all other than getting this message when opening the info screen.

Hi Mathias

thanks for he info . ctd. was an airbase problem. solved it by deleting all of the cfs2 bases and only went with the bases from the Heinkel Campaign. Re "destroyer error" there must be a way around that problem it is annoying . i guess it would be solved by deleting the ships from the misssion???. also the starting base OLDENBURG  is just a plain field . Is there a fully developed airfield facility available. ???? A campaign such as this one ought to start from a fully developed airstrip/field.

once again thanks for he ctd problem. any other advise is most welcome. also are there any other fully developed  campaigns  that you/anybody knows about.

thanks

Guy, sharp observation on the formation issue, cheers!

michael, we used Oldenburg off Steve McLelland's europe scenery which is available here at simviation in the CFS2 scenery section.
We just forgot to mention this as a required extra download.

Hi Guys

thanks for all the help.
Raf pilot works great. resolved the german destroyer isssue by having two airbase files (notepad) with  airbase info. unique to each campaign.  Surprisingly both campaigns - Poland and Heinkel111 run just fine.  am about to get the scenery for OLdenburg and look forward to flying both campaigns next.

No more crashes to the desktop.

As you can tell i have several CFS2 installed. one for the Pacific theatre ( USA-JAPAN-AUSTRALIA-NETHERLAND-KOREA)and one for Europe-(GERMANY-POLAND).   do either of you flyboys know of a WAY to make my Europe CFS2 (which is primarily german at this time) start with German splash screen when the simulator loads. Also subsequent german background images for all other screens would add a further degree of realism.

thanks for the info and your help
