Problem with Weapons on Newly made EF-111A Dp.

Hi everyone. i have a question for any one who has made a dp for a aircraft from scratch or has edited one before. i recently have finished a Dp. for a EF-111A Raven for cfs2 i found. it had a dp but no guns and no loadouts. so i added some loadouts and guns and im glad to say that the guns work but the loadouts dont.

the problem is that the Weapons dont phisically show in single player or in a mission. it registers as there but they dont show in game or when selecting the plane

y2cool4. I think the best way to check this out would be to replace the DP file with one that you know works. Back up your own DP file first, then paste one in from any other aircraft. It doesn't matter which one or whether it fits properly - so long as it has external weapons. One of the defaults would be ideal.

Rename the DP file using the same file prefix as the AIR file of the EF-111. Finally, delete the CDP file. This is most important & should be done every time you modify the DP. A new CDP file will be created when you next select the aircraft in CFS2.

Now try it in Free Flight. If the external weapons display & function the problem is with your new DP. If they don't work the problem is the MDL file of the EF-111. This can be fixed by patching the MDL with the M$ MDL Converter tool. http://www.microsoft.com/games/combatfs2/articles_SDK_mdlconverter.asp
Use the default settings. Don't use the Optimize Graphics option.

PS. Drop tanks will need entries added to the AIR file before they will function.
