CFS2 Cd boot up problem

I have a problem when loading CFS2. The cd takes forever to boot up and get the game going. This happens ONLY with this game. All my others work fine. I have both a 52x cd-rom and cd burner installed. I am using Windows Xp Pro. ???

I've never had a problem with CFS2 myself. You might like to hunt round for the CFS2 No-CD patch. (This is sometimes referred to as a crack.) The appropriated No-CD patches fixed a similar problem for me with CFS3 & FS2004.
