hi all :)
i was wondering if you scenery and mesh masters out there could tell me if its possible to embed static objects such as sinking/floating planes, sunken ships,  floating dinghies in water mesh or as scenery objects :)
ive been wrapping my head around this but havent got enuf knowledge as yet .
if it is possible, would open a whole different area for missions and eyecandy ;D
thanks

Hi Egypt. Yes, as Ambassador says, what you suggest is possible with a conventional scenery design application & static scenery objects (API macros). You will obviously need experience with installing scenery & the programs themselves. I suggest you download FSSC from Ambassador's link & mess around with it. Create a few simple test airfields & find out how it works. Once you're familiar with the basics search the SimV Scenery Design/Utilities section for a utility named M98toBGL. You can use this to convert your own macros from simple existing FS98 aircraft.

I put this together in EOD...

The dinghy can be seen from about a 1000 ft off, so using it in missions wouldn't be practical because you'd need to be really close in order to see it.
