Further to my reply in the Windows 11 thread, I thought I'd post this as a stand alone thread for anyone looking for this specific solution.

As an avid CFS2 player of more years than I care to remember, I've found Hardware Acceleration won't work with Windows 10/11 and modern GPU's.

A simple workaround is to use DDrawCompat - https://github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat/releases

Visit the above link, scroll down to the file DDrawCompat-v0.7.1.zip download and extract.

Then you just copy & paste the ddraw.dll into the main CFS2 installation folder.

Voila!

You'll now have full hardware acceleration in CFS2.

This has been tested extensively by myself on both Windows 10 / 1080ti and Windows 11 / 3080ti and it works a treat!

Enjoy. ^-^
