New Me-323 at Simviation. I do have misgivings about this aircraft, particulary the fact that the "builder" of this model has used and or stolen other people works before, without permission or even giving credit to the orginal author. I think the most notorious of which occured several months ago, with Becz claiming that he actually built the Groundcrew He-111, and posting it with a new paint scheme!!!
But due to the obvious lack of Me-323s on the market at the moment, I couldnt help myself and had to try it out.
It is an average model, acceptable by todays cfs2 standards, but certainly not up to the calibre of Groundcrews 111 or K. Malinowskis Ju-88s. And the paint scheme could be better. The large front cargo doors do open, revealing german vehicles inside (if you selected them as a payload) As a result of this, you can drop these vehicles like bombs (pretty much negating the purpose of this aircraft, as the halftracks and such inside explode on hitting the ground) Now, on to the controversial bits. Im not much of an expert on recognizing other peoples work, but Im pretty sure he has used Groundcrews Condor sounds, as well as german booster rockets (I recognized them from other german aircraft, but I forget who they are credited to) I might add that these are NOT given credit)
Now, If I find out the actual aircraft has been pirated from another hard working designer, by all mean I will gladly delete the aircraft and wait for the orignal designer to finish his work. But for now, as there is no other Me-323 on the market, im gonna have to keep this aircraft.
