Last Request

It's been a while since I've been in, but I've been around this and other sites, gathering planes of various types for all my CFS needs. And wants.

I thank you all and must say I'll be leaving, with not much more left to want. At least in the ways of Aviation. I thank you all for being very charitable, kind, people, and I bid thee all Farewell.

As a last Request, It'd be nice to see the [Supposedly Fictional] Auroura stealth research/surveilance edge-of-atmosphere,-super-cruise jet.

I've not seen it mentioned on any massively credible site, but I believe there is an entry in a Jane's Registry for a fictional aircraft coined 'Auroura'... A quick search should supply any builder with some [Theoretical] specs for this [Controversial] plane.

I'll be responding to this topic and a few others for a while longer, then I'm gone. Can't have many more requests, as almost any plane can be found, now, if searched for, long and hard.

Ace. I'm not really sure what this is all about or why you're saying goodbye.

Ah... Bummer. The sites may have been taken down... Or just gone down by themselves.

Hah Hah. Maybe the Government did it.
"Hurry, Fritz! Clear the Hard Drive! The Gestapo is coming!"
Just Kidding, Of Course!

As far as I know, from unofficial and theoretical information, it is similar to NASA's X-43 'Hyper-X' Project, except being much larger, with a more rounded nose, and bulbous top. It is supposedly powered by a series of SCRAMJET high-compression, low-air-intake engines, which enable it to fly close to the edge of Earth's atmosphere at a speed well in excess of Mach 13. It has an internal bay which could be used to store either A.) A very large bomb, B.) A massive collection of other ornances, from cruise missiles, rockets, missiles, bombs, or C.) highly-sensitive, high-altitude set-up Surveilance and Detection Equipment. The landing gear is said to be single, fat, in the front, and dual, fat, like a Boeing 747's, in the rear.

Supposedly designed to take the place of the SR-71, it may be under the designation of SR-91, or something similar. It is possible that the Aurora may be designated X-39, as well, for no information is given for such ID, yet the ID is verified and confirmed. In other words... "All official Information, at this time, is Classified."

But we already knew that, eh?

And thanks, for correcting me, and pointing out my spelling error.
Sorry about that.

And here's a fact page on the X-43, the 'Hyper-X' Project.
http://www.fas.org/spp/guide/usa/launch/x-43.htm

Hmm... Matter of fact, you guys should bookmark that site. Plenty of other things on there. An entry for almost every plane known, ever... And I'm missing a few dozen of those. You guys may not be seeing the last of me, after all.

Ok, Here is yet another link that may be of help for the proposed project. http://www.fas.org/irp/mystery/aurora.htm The first picture of the supposed aircraft at the top-left, though obviously computer generated similar to the one on the right, seems to be the most probable model.

Also, that first

maybe they will come out with the project in 8 years time and make it public like they did with the Stealth fighter

I think I found something that could be helpful, here...http://bispro.free.fr/aviation/aurora/aurora6f.htm

Yes, indeed! The above link is the most well known and most realistic-seeming rumor.

Very Good. We might have a bit of luck, yet.

The 'Aurora' may already be exposed, completely, to the public--as the X-30 NASP. Edge-of-Space-and-Beyond craft.

If anyone is daring enough to attempt the creation of this thing...well...heres about the best information you'll find, to base the project on; http://bispro.free.fr/aviation/aurora/aurora6f.htm , as posted above.

Thank You Very Much, In Advance.
