control problem

Alright I just installed this game on a new high-speed-low-drag computer and the controlls are all herky jerky on me. I know it's not the computer. All I have to do is custimize the controls so the it flies smoothly, but I can't seem to get them right. Most of the time I can't pull out and when I do I go into a roll. All i need is the optimum controller settings. What are your settings? I don't have a joystick.
