Hawk. Most FS2000 aircraft work well in CFS2. You might need to realias the panel/sound for them to show up.
They obviously won't have DP files & will need to be converted to carry payloads. Use the MDL Converter Tool here. http://www.microsoft.com/games/combatfs2/articles_SDK_mdlconverter.asp
Don't use the Optimize Graphics option.

I've tried very few that didn't work. Many earlier CFS2 aircraft are simply FS2000 designs with DP files.  Please read this.

Hawk, you're not listening. Most, if not all, aircraft posted in the FS2000 section will work perfectly in CFS2. Give me an example & I'll prove it. Tell me the file name & the page number it's posted on.

This may sound silly but do you need to own FS2000 for the planes to work? ???

Rut Roh! Bet the acft. sound is aliased to the stock FS2k Boeing 747 and he ain't got it. Dropping any jet sound you like in there will make it work or aliasing the sound to any jet you have will do the trick.

Like Hagar said, "Most FS2k acft will work in CFS2". Matter of fact, I got tons of them. Most work perfectly, some I need to run the MDL tool on to help out.
