???I have installed a 3rd party aircraft, all files seem to there, however when I start CFS2 and go into campaigns it is not available for selection. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

To confirm an aircraft is installed correctly always check it out in Free Flight first. If it shows up on the FF menu but is not selectable in campaigns open the DP file in Notepad. Look for a [MISC_DATA] section. The entered_service= date must be earlier than the date of the campaign. Change the date to suit or if the entry is missing paste one in. Here's the entry from the default Wildcat which should be selectable in all default campaigns.

[MISC_DATA]
unit_family=1
category=1
allegiance=3
max_group_size=8
min_speed=240
cruise_speed=405
max_speed=607
min_alt=50
cruise_alt=5893
max_alt=8839
entered_service=11/1/40
crew=1

Hey! I have found that if your aircraft doesn't show up in the sim at all, but all the files seem to be there, it usually means that a file is aliased to an A/C that you don't have installed. Make sure you have the panel and guages aliased to an A/C you know that works. This site has a good tutorial here: http://www.simviation.com/fsdcfsalias.htm

Good luck!
