Conquest!
Posted: Tue Mar 18, 2003 9:53 pmHas any ever seen the History Channel cable preogram called "Conquest"? I do lots of hand to hand combat stuff myself and many of the shows feature various forms of self-defense and fighting.
However, the show occasionally delves into other areas of combat...and they just did a show on Air Combat.
The cool thing was this...the narrator went to one of those places that that'll take you up in a Marchetti and let you dogfight another Marchetti...sometimes they use AT-6s or whatever they have, depends on the place...BUT the show covered a bit of ACM and went to an Air Force training facility and used a simulator...the simulator software was CFS2!!!! There was a mock-up of a cockpit with all the controls and so forth, but the simulator was CFS2! It was so damned cool to see...
