General discussion for CFS2 - WW 2 Pacific Theater

I very much admire Tim Conrad's OV-1D_TNR Mohawk aircraft for FS2004 and would like to fly it in CFS2. So I converted the model file with Ivan Hsu's MDLC program, first to 2002 (which works perfectly in FS2002), then to CFS2. I replaced the air file and tried it in CFS2. The aircraft appeared and everything seemed to be working perfectly until I started the engines. Once the first engine started some parts of the fuselage and wings disappeared. I've tried everything I can think of to fix this without success. The problem is definitely tied to running the engines. When the engines are shut down and the props stopped, the missing parts reappear.

I know there's still a lot of CFS2 expertise out there. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is and how I might address it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Solved the problem of parts of the aircraft disappearing when the engines started by converting the texture files to a common CFS2 format: 16-bit 565.
