I have installed CFS 2 on Windows 10. I am able to launch the game using the No-CD patch. HOWEVER, whenever I click fly now, the game shows "loading scenery..." and crashes. This happens in all mission types - quick missions, free flight, campaigns.

I've tried reinstalling the game many times, in C:\ , in C:\Program Files(X86), and even in another partition H:\ but the game crashes each time.

I haven't been able to play a single mission.

How can I solve this problem?

I've never had a problem running CFS2 on Windows 10. It's a long time since I installed it so this is just a suggestion.
I can't lay my hands on the CDs right now or I would try it.

You might need to have CD #2 in the drive the first time you run it after installing the No-CD patch as some of the scenery might be loaded from there.
(This might depend on the install option you chose.)

Other tips: I've always installed my sims to locations outside the default Program Files locations. My CFS2 is installed to C:\CFS2

You could also try running it as Windows XP from Compatibility mode. Right-click on CFS.exe & select Properties. Then click the Compatibility tab.

I appreciate the solution you provided for getting Combat Flight Simulator 2 (CFS2) to work on Windows 10. It works well and has allowed me to enjoy the game again.
