Odd alliasing problem

Postby bigstu08 » Fri Oct 30, 2015 8:46 am

just added a new a/c to the sim, despite the fact I used an identical sound cfg copied from a plane with the custom sound set working, and when that failed the custom set itself in place, when I fly the plane in game it uses the default sound, when there zero references to any default a/c in any of the cfg files? what going wrong

Maybe you need to delete to Original sound folder and then paste the new sound folder. <<t

thats what I've done, identical sound folder to the one that works, yet sound is the default wildcat sound, which I've actually deleted

I would just do away with the aliasing all together. Newer computers don't have to alias the sounds like the old ones did. Just a thought.

If that doesn't work then look closer at your aircraft.cfg

odd, installed the same plane with the same sound setups in a different install and it works fine, must have messed up somewhere and not been able to see it, now works in the original install as well
