loss of throttle control

In cfs2, i lose throttle control after hitting x to warp.Engine returns to idle and loses speed.The only way control is partially gained is by diving to very low level.I am only using prop planes and have tried reducing throttle before hitting x to warp but with no effect.Does anyone have any ideas on a fix? I love the game but this is really make it hard to enjoy. Thanks

what OS are you using?
does it happen with the stock planes?
