I strongly suspect that the answer to the riddle lies in the DP files.

Anyone who might be having a problem with the weps on my A4-E Skykawk here at SimV, might note that the download came with two weps packs.   If you installed both try removing either the weapons_00_FREE.bgl OR the weapons_A4-E.bgl.   They are different libraries containing precisely the same weps files.  8-)
