install planes on flight deck

there is an addon which consists of some aircraft with folded wings and open wings i think which you can install for more scenery. the guy has a great addon and says the person who downloads it has to figure it out for themselves. i guess i am not smart enough to add it on . can anyone explain to me how you get it to show up you flight deck? thanks
