Add on aircraft

Why would many of the add on aircraft not show up in the game except as AI aircraft? I have several that i added and they don't show up in the aircraft selection page. But then when I want to do a dog fight, there they are as AI aircraft. i haven't done anything but install them normaly. Some work, some don't except as an AI aircraft.

Which aircraft are these? If they have panel or sound aliased to aircraft not installed to your Aircraft folder they won't be listed on the Free Flight selection menu. You might like to read my Aliasing article from the link to Grumpy's Lair in my sig.

The other explanation is that they are special AI Only drones intended for use in missions.

Addon aircraft cannot be used as AI in QC unless you add them to the database.

Tips

1.How to install new planes into Combat Flght Simulator 2?

This is one of the easiest Sim in witch to add new planes into.
