Mission Builder problems

Postby pandorafowler » Mon Dec 19, 2005 8:30 pm

I get a message saying that MB failed to initalize the database.  I've tried reinstalling CFS2 twice already over the exsisting install.  Also I noticed that the MB file was associated with IGOR from Ghost Recon.

I may not have all the answers but I may be able to help you.

My first question is do you have more one hundred planes in you Aircraft folder. If you do, you need to reduce them to around 95 to 99 per hangar.

My next subgestion for you to uninstall CFS2. Go back to Microsoft game / Combat Flight Simulator Folder and delete whatever was left behind. Now reinstall. May this might help.

If you still are having problems come back and we will help you along this problem. Maybe not me. But some one else may be able to help you.

I suspect James is correct about having too many aircraft installed. This is a common problem with CFS2. My CFS2 FAQ page might help. http://www.simviation.com/lair/cfs2faq.htm
