Russian Female Campaign?

Postby Adrocles » Wed Apr 20, 2005 12:05 am

Hi guys it's me again.

I've had an idea for a Russian Campaign that could be interesting to play for CFS2

I've read a book called Night Witches written by Bruce Myles, it's about female Russian pilots who mostly were flying during the night to harrass German troops and prevent them from sleeping.

Right now I'm afraid I'll have to wait until September until I can start working on that project, but I'd need first of all something that could get me Female voices, next I would need a Female Russian Squadron...Of course most of the missions would be flown during the night.

Anyway the Female Russian Background and the Female Voices would be the trickiest parts to find, anyone knows where I could find those?

I would also need flyable I-16 and I-153 fighters, those were the weapons of choice of those Female squadrons.

There many Websites with Hundreds of planes from different Nations avalable.

You can start right here in this same Wesite. There are hundreds of planes right here.

So if I were you I would start looking in this Web.

I also posted many other Websites where you can find this and many other planes as well.

Please look in into the post call, Good campaigns. There I posted many Websites as well, They also have planes and extras things donated by good members through the years for the enjoyment of the community.

I hope I have been helpful?

Enjoy

Ah, The Night Witches! This a great campaign idea. A great
story too. I built a couple missions around this idea. They
typically used the Polikarpov Po-2 (U-2). Although they used
several other types as well. I have one that was modified
from CFS1. But I just found another at:

Some interesting historical stuff to go with a CFS1 PO-2 here:

The preview shot looks pretty good. Much better than what
I have. Have fun. I would love to see your campaign when
it is done (even though I have lousy night vision, hehehe).
