A new look from the Virtual Cocpit

Postby james007 » Thu Jan 06, 2005 10:45 am

I found a new view from the virtual cockpit that I was not aware that you could acheive through CFS2.
Activate your Virtual cockpir by pressing F4. Press [ and your should see the differrence in the the view from it .

This really works best from the stock planes cockpits. It does not always work as well in added planes since not all their virtual cockpit are of the same quality.

Another tip for your enjoyment that I found is that we get close gunsite view through the same mothod.

just remember if you press [ or ] . you will get zoom in or zoomout capabilities. This only works with virtual cockpits

Enjoy James007

Thats how I flew all my flights in CFS2. the [ and ] keys are zoom in and out for CFS and they work in every view. Though in the big flat panel view the panel will stay the same size while everything else is zoomed in or out.

Depends which keyboard layout you use. With the FS/CFS1 keyboard option the [ & ] brackets open & close a new window. The + & - keys zoom in & out just as they do in all versions of FS. I never saw the point of learning two completely different sets of key commands to play different versions of the same game.

I've never seen it mentioned anywhere but CFS3 also has the FS/CFS1 keyboard option.
