Hi all. Been reading the debate about CF3 and the proposed CFS4 with interest! Personally, I like CFS 3 - I agree, it's not as good as CFS 2 and definitely has a different "look" about it, but is still pretty cool. My only problem is that I can't get it to run smoothly when the action is happening low down with lots of bombs or rockets flying and buildings or vehicles blowing up. Then it just stutters like hell, the screen often freezes, and it's as though the action is going on but you can no longer see it! Next thing you know you've exploded in a fireball on the ground and there was nothing you could do to prevent it! It's fine in free flight mode, or when in a dogfight, but otherwise......

I have downloaded Direct X 9.0, but it seems to make no difference. I have a reasonably high spec computer and have fitted a GFX 5600 graphics accelerator card, so I can't believe it's my system, and the only way I can get it to run stutter free is to turn down all the detail, which ruins the experience somewhat.....anyone got any suggestions? Adam.

What I think would be great for CFS 4 would be CFS2 with an interactive ATC, VORs and NDBs to navigate , and more fighter escort missions, like Pearl Harbour, Clark Feild, China Raids, Port Darwin etc. Wouldn't that be a wicked thing to have (included with more features, like bombsights in Kates! lol ).
