CFS2 Japanese Radio Chatter

Postby BP_Lizard » Fri Sep 03, 2004 12:06 pm

Which folder does the 'ingame' Japanese radio chatter installs? I'm talking about the voice over when you give commands to your wingmen and the responses that they say.
I have found a lot of wav files that contain the tutorial and some other voice over but those are not the one I'm looking for. I would like to know where I could find the voice over of the pilots when they are screaming their heads off when they're going down.
Thanks in advance.

Those are located in your sound/radio folder, but they are in gvr format, so you need Martin Wright's split gvr tool to open them and find out which is which. From that point you should, I presume, be able to modify them.

I have already converted the gvr files. Of the 7 Japanese GVR files,  4-5 are various actors screaming 'I'm going down!' The rest of the commands must be in GVT and GVI format. I'm using Goldwave to open them, and these 2 files are not compatible with it.
Thank you very much for your reply. I really appreciate it.
