CFS2 with Windows XP

Postby redwinos » Sun Jan 11, 2004 11:11 am

I am still new to the Flight Simulator game and just bought FS2004, and am looking at the Combat Series. What I am questioning is the lack of written OS platform for XP. Can someone tell me if Combat will work on the XP Platform?
Thanks for all your help..........

Hi Redwinos. I have no knowledge of WinXP myself but many of my friends use it. No problems with CFS2 that I know of.

I have XP it kicks @$$ get it!!!! The best 20bucks you'll ever spend

ps. most of the older things (but not too old), ussulally work with XP, there are some exeptions though (especially in old games)

as a matter of fact if you right click an exe or a link to a game, go to properties there is actually a compatability tab, that lets some older games run in XP and makes XP look like 95 or something, just in case you didn't know:)
Believe half of what you see, 1/4 of what you hear, and nothing that I say

I agree . . . paid  $20 for CFS2 before I got 2004 for x-mas and with all of the aircraft  and scenery addon's available, you get a great system.  Mine runs great on XP Home.  Have it on my 2-year old Dell laptop and it slugs along with add-on scenery.
