Hi Scooter. You don't say if you mean default or 3rd party scenery. As a general rule of thumb I would say no. In most cases - files from later M$ sims are not compatible with earlier versions.
The FS2000 default scenery works well enough in CFS2. It depends what you're looking to do. There is plenty of proper CFS2 3rd party scenery covering most areas which would be the best option where possible. IMHO

Thanks Hagar. I wanted to fly some of the European scenery, the alps, cities, etc. I just thought I could take it from the other games I have. I would be OK with paying for some really good 3rd party scenery. Can you recommend some? Some people seem to be able to access any part of the world from CFS2 itself. All I could find was "European Theater"
Look for CFSII Europe by Steve McClelland in the CFS2 Scenery section. There are several different areas covering far more of Europe than in CFS1. No cities as such but terrain mesh with over 80 airfields in the UK alone. (CFSII Europe Release 2 that Steve did specially for me). The locations are based on the airports in FS2000. Steve's scenery is also compatible with European airfields by Martin Wright, GZR_Frenchy & other experienced CFS2 scenery designers.
