building a plane for myself

Postby bombardier » Thu May 21, 2015 7:35 am

hello to all:

let me say that the planes that I have downloaded are all great with the time someone needs to build a plane and paint it takes time know how and comes with experience.

that being said, im thinking getting into plane building for myself what is involved to build one. I think the painting is the easy part, I could be wrong.

I'm sure this has been asked before so just forgive me for another post.

google a few tutorials on 3d modeling to see whats involved

gmax is a good free 3d modeling tool but has a steep learning curve.
for FS, abacus FSDS is a great 3d modeler designed for FS, its payware but its easier to use.
I learned on FSDS then moved on to 3ds max.
there are lots of modeling tools out there to choose from
ASUS P8Z77-VLK, I5-3570k @ 4.4ghz, G.SKILL 16gb 1600, GTX 570 2560MB GDDR5, 2x OCZ Vertex 4 128Gb SSD SATA 3,
WD 500GB SATA 3, ASUS DRW-24B1ST SATA 3, OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular, Samsung 52" lcd, Win 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
