Today i wanted to join in

I get fed up spending 20 mins or more to dl something others have problems with. I just want to help.

BUT, why on earth can't i join in with my present username and password????

The forums are completely different from 'express member' area - where people pay (a tiny amount for 1 year) to use high bandwidth downloads. ... And we supply millions of files per month. Probably more than any other site on the planet. 10's TBs per month High bandwidth costs and has to be paid for. $1000's per month. & this site isn't about making money (like some well known bad sites - the pirate ones in particular). It's only about covering costs & that's bare to minimal.

Simviation certainly doesn't provide my living. It only covers its monthly costs. I created another site for my living.

I am a FS fanatic and that's why simviation was created but it needs to cover it's costs. Period.

Forums cost next to zero.

In the future i'll keep it in short terms.

Yesterday i was trying to join in as a PAYED Express member.
I'm not able to do that with my present username/password!
Why is that?

He (bass) has an italian email (.it) and an italian name so I doubt it is you. There are also many people with similar names like bass2, basser, bassman, thebass etc

If you cannot use a name simply try another

I'm just trying to avoid more different usernames, i simply can't remember where and what

Some time ago, I recall, one of the well-known Flight Sim Sites required a different sign-in name for the Main Site, and a different sign-in name and its Forum.

I NEVER "sign-out" on any of my favourite Sites, so that every time I visit them I am always automatically signed-in with my usual details!

I sometimes do a heavy cleaning in my "house"! Then you will be locked out on most sites, that is, if sites are not letting thru Firefox security. The problem occurs if Firefox are acting stupid and you need to do something about it, then your own "rams" are in trouble! Memory is a strange thing!
