someone has been deleting, stealing, and changing all of my posts, so here's my idea. How about everyone has to type in thier own password before they access a thread that they started, therfore, we've just outruled highjacking of threads, so no one can access a topic that they didn't start.

opinions on my idea inside of this complaint would be great.

Only Moderators and Admins can modify your post, as we have the very password protection you have suggested, which prevents other members from altering your posts.

Thread 'stealing' or 'hijacking' occurs frequently, as forums such as ours are a rather dynamic place, and the ebb and flow of many different opinions from many different nations is rather quite hard to predict, so we more or less just go with the flow of the conversation at times, rather than just ruthlessly sticking to topic at all times.

If a thread is going downhill fast, sometimes, a Moderator may step in and 'lighten the mood' a little.

well I created a poll and all of it was changed with the exception of two things: the name, and a question asking "people who don't know how to shut up"

1st this is not a serious complaint --- simply explained by Shane above.

2nd I have deleted your poll posting as it was absolutely pointless, hard to understand what it was about and not relevant to this forum.

We have to get on with constructive and positive postings. 

true that it was pointless, and not relavent to this forum, but it did have a very small point: it was asking for opinions.
