hi can anybody help? i tried to upload a picture to this forum yesterday to enter in the screeny contest, and although it was within the size limit (it was 85.78KB) i was told it was 22000+ bytes to large and coan't be uploaded? any ideas why this happens? or how to solve the prob?

Have you already tried another pic? What I want to say is: is this a common problem you got, or is it this specific file? Maybe try uploading another pic and see if that works...

btw: you aren't yet allowed to enter this months contest - only for members registered before 1. Sept.  :P

i tried several pics...all the same prob. i guess it's good news i can't enter...gives me more time to work out my problem.

Maybe try and send me one of those pics attached to an e-mail and I'll see if it works to see if it's the pic or maybe your system...

Had to rename it because some "Flacon50.jpg" already existed (the scnd pic) but after that I had no problem uploading it:

So it worked here: must be you or your system; just a hint: don't use space in the pics name (use _ or - or whatever you like) - it won't work until you replace the space by (I think) %20% in the tag...
