:D  I know it's been asked before but I guess I missed it; how do I post a photo to my signature?

Dead easy ....... open up your profile ...... in the options section signature part paste the uploaded picture as if posting in a normal post.

Make sure the picture is below 30KB and not too big.

Easy as that.

I think you are mistaken.....30721 bytes is equal to 30Kbs, not 30.721 ;)

His: 30971

Yours: 30721

Either way, you still have no room to talk...  ;)

His 30.25Kb

Mine 30Kb...dead on...if you want to argue take it up with photoshop ;)

:)

PS...remember, this forum's imaging system runs on Kb, not bytes, thats why it is possible to upload a 102000 byte image that is actually only 100Kb ;)

You are pointing out bytes...not kilobytes ;)
, and the amount of Bytes does not turn into kilobytes when divided by 1000 :), as a kilobyte is actually 1024 bytes...lets do some maths;

30721/1024 = 30.0009765625

This is then rounded down to 30 :), as this forum uses 2dp as a rounding measure :)

Ok, let's try this one last time...

First off, this is a BS thing.  I should be telling both of you guys to change your pics, but it's a ridiculously small amount over, so I haven't bothered.  That could change.  Technically both of you are above the 30k limit, so there. Final..

You: 30721 bytes

Him: 30971 bytes.

You're both wrong and no matter how you try to spin it, that's not going to change.

This started out as fun, but it's getting annoying REAL quick...

Sorry, but this only got annoying cos you are trying to tell me that my sig is oversized when it isnt....

My sig is 30kbs...which is equal to 30721 bytes....as the upload page specifies 30Kbs this means that I am completely abiding by the rules.....

For the last time 1Kb = 1024 bytes......NOT 1000!!!!!!

Rant over.....woo lets all be friends :D:D:D:D:D:D

.mic

PS...actually kevin i can see where you're coming from....as I should technically say that my sig is 30 KiB big, which is the binary version of kilobytes, but as the binary version is universally used on this forum and referred to as Kb, I decided to put it as that...sorry for the confusion :)
